Arunachal - 7 Days

Day 1
Guwahati – Bomdila (320 km, 8-9 hrs approx)

Today morning, proceed to Bomdila (8,200 ft.) – the headquarter of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate. Enroute visit Nag Temple and Bomdila Monastery. After reaching, check into the hotel. Evening free for leisure activities.

Overnight stay in Bomdila.

Day 2
Bomdila – Tawang (180 km, 6 hrs approx)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Tawang (11,500 ft.). – the land of Monpa Tribes & major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – Sela Pass (13700ft) which run through a small ridge & along a lake called Sela Lake or Paradise Lake and visit Jaswant Garh, a memorial to the brave soldier who single handily tried to hold of approaching Chinese from the pass during the 1962 Indo-Chinese war. On arrival check into the hotel.

Day 3
Tawang Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing. Visit Tawang Monastery, Pankang Teng Tso Lake (PT Tso Lake), War Memorial, Ani Gompa, Handicraft Centre. Evening free for leisure activities.

Day 4
Tawang Sightseeing

After breakfast. Visit Bum La Pass & Madhuri Lake . Evening free for leisure activities at local market.

Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 5
Tawang – Dirang (70 km, 5 hrs approx)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Dirang – a small and beautiful valley which is famous for hot water springs where people take bath to cure skin ailments. Enroute visit Jung Water Falls, Dirang Valley and Kiwi Garden.

Overnight stay at Dirang.

Day 6
Dirang – Tezpur (200 km, 5-6hrs approx

After breakfast; check out from hotel and drive to Tezpur- the city of eternal love. On the way lies Nameri National Park- Known for white winged wood duck and golden mahsheer. Nameri is well known for eco tourism . You can stop at Eco Camp Nameri for lunch and also can visit pigmy hog research and conservation centre. One can enjoy trekking inside the National park and enjoy river rafting at river jia bhoroli.

Check in at hotel and overnight stay at Nameri or Tezpur.

Day 7
Tezpur – Guwahati (198 km, 5 hrs approx)- Tour ends

After breakfast check out from hotel. (If you have late evening flight then on the way you can visit Mahabhairav temple and Agnigarh at Tezpur- the city of eternal love) Drive to LGBI airport for your onward journey.

Tour ends with sweet memories.
